There are both pros and cons of accessing root file of your ANDROID ,but eventually it depends on you
[if you are here for the first time ,WelCome.we would suggest you go through THIS before continuing]
Let's go with betterness first so to cherish sweet at last.
CONS
1.The first and perhaps the last disadvantage is you will void your warranty, yes there will be no support from your device provider unless you shell out some bucks.
2.If you're careless and unlucky enough then you may undergo serious virus attack, which ranges from ransomware, adware, malware etc.
3.if you are dumb enough with half knowledge, which is most dangerous, then you may cook some random stuff and Hard brick or Soft brick your buddy Android.
4.This is the only serious and rare sort of problem, you may lose data like IMEI no. MAC no. of your device while tweaking or modifying the files.
PROS
1.Your are like Indians during 1947,FREEDOM, and can reach to any node and corner of your device, tweak it,change it,anything;it's all yours.
But as the popular saying goes “with great stuff comes great responsibility”you need to be aware enough to understand what you're doing before pricking your fingers in it.
2. You can change all the software part,i mean, literally all. You can decide how booting image should appear and how it should end,how should be your icon of charging battery ,what should be on home screen and what should not be,you can permanently remove the bloatware
, ranging from smallest to largest.
3.you can automate your device. There are many apps which can do this like; tasker, these apps gain the access of your root files and does your programmed work,be it like turning your mobile into silent mode when enter classroom, turning your WiFi off when there is a suspicious network.
4.There will be no more gritting for battery.Rooting allows you to take decision regarding which apps should be working in background and which should be shut down and thus this result in efficient management of battery.
5.Rooting gives you true backup, you can take whole software(ROM) as backup without missing any node and corner, that to in the easiest way of swiping.
6.If your are innovation thirsty and good enough Android programmer then you can do lots of tweaks with your rooted Android device.
We as BOOOOTING are bit biased towards rooting Android rather than than maintaining its stock version ,we have few counters for CONS above ,in respective order .
1.voiding of warranty :-losing the support from your provider is okay, as Android has gained much thrust that it's trending topic of all the forums and prominent sites so you have support there 24x7 all the time.
2 viral attack:-Again “with great stuff comes great responsibility”,you need to be bit conscious regarding what your download and from where or else there are even trustworthy security apps for rooted devices which can protect your device and data.
3.Hard brick or soft brick:- Again the same popular quote of this post, you need to be loaded with correct knowledge regarding all the tweaks and modifications.
4.Losing IMEI and MAC :-This serious problems eventually has many solutions using softwares like MTKdroid tool,SP writer which could grab you out of this.
Ultimately what we suggest is if you are a workaholic person with less extra time for other things then go with your stock versions of Android.
If you are student then we suggest; YOU MUST try these stuffs eventually this could be even beneficial to your academics specially if your are a tech student.Being okay with what you have is a hindrance to innovation, meanwhile there are many large communities online to support you for this, so jumping in here is worth and new activity.
“Rooting is harmful” is myth,Android is open source platform with gigantic community which is working day and night on it and is easily accessible at your fingertips online for support.
At last the pros and cons ultimately depend on how you perceive it ,so if you think of o
